Some simple physics for today. Who else spent a few hours of their life messing with one of these? It's just 5 ball bearings suspended from strings of equal length in a straight line. That back and forth cracking demonstrating two of the principles laws of conservation:f energy and momentum. These "Newton's cradles" were fun to play with but only for a short time. Neat but got old fast. Of course still have to give it a few minutes try whenever I dust it or move it to take a picture.
