Today I will demonstrate how to properly dismantle and harvest cannabis plants, using our method, in a video. There are other harvesting methods that are also correct, but this is the way we have found to garner the best results for us.
First you must clip off all the arms and tops that have a length that outgrew the height of the cage. after this is completed, you have two options. One is to just cut the stalk (easiest way is with a reciprocating saw), and flip the plant over to dry upside down. We sometimes also string the plants up to dry by the cages, and pull them up high on vaulted ceilings. The second option is to simply dismantle the entire plant, while continuing to hang each brand/arm/top/cola on another cage separately. The cage hanging method can sometime take longer to dry when not vaulted up higher than normal, and the total dismantlement method is much more time consuming for harvesting, but usually dries a little faster, and saves you from putting more work off until later.
Always dry you cannabis in a semi-cool, dry, dark area (preferably insulated), and always remove any visible mold from you flowers before grouping everything together to dry. Ignoring the mold at this stage will cause it to spread further into the bud, and possibly to other drying plants near it, that previously did not have any mold.

I was running on fumes today when doing all this. I was up at 5:30am when it was still pitch black outside, and only got about 4 hours of sleep, while Monday night I achieved about 6 hours. Needless to say I am exhausted, and also extremely behind on many Steemit endeavors. I hope to achieve catching up with all the @earthtribe updates that need to be done, completing the coordination of and supplying the down payment for the printing of the @tribesteemup T-shirts, and wrapping up the 1st ever Earth Deeds contest in the next few days.
I am also helping organize one of the Portland shows for @alaisclay's Constellation Tour. I have a few venue options I have gathered for her, and will also be providing additional performers, including myself.
