I admit, that I ~~sometimes~~ often get carried away with my enthusiasm to help others. My latest has been to "level the playing field" for newbies.

I also admit that I either misunderstood the term, "pay it forward" or the term has been used as a label incorrectly.

1. respond to a person's kindness to oneself by being kind to someone else.
"I will take the support I have had and try to pay it forward whenever I can"

Pay it forward is an expression for describing the beneficiary of a good deed repaying it to others instead of to the original benefactor.

The concept is old, but the phrase may have been coined by Lily Hardy Hammond in her 1916 book In the Garden of Delight.

"Pay it forward" is implemented in contract law of loans in the concept of third-party beneficiaries. Specifically, the creditor offers the debtor the option of paying the debt forward by lending it to a third person instead of paying it back to the original creditor.

If you don't know, just be glad that you have not been confused as I have.

So, after "it" turned "18", I finally realized that the song that has been playing has been ...

But, it's also time for me to grow up - when most kids turned 18, they move out - in the past at least. Nowadays, they move back in with their parents after they graduated from college and could not find a job - but, that is quite another story.

As it is for me and for them - "Lesley Gore It's My Party And I'll Cry if I Want to" - call it whatever you like. But, as someone who deals with science, facts, and logic, I say: "It ain't so".

So, is #ccc a "pay it forward" community?
So far, I have invested and Powered Up and upvote those with "dust votes" or less / smaller and guarantee them a daily-income and daily-payout, albeit small ($0.03 minimum), it could impact someone's life because #ccc could make a difference between someone quitting too soon and someone who stayed encouraged long enough to start generating meaningful income and grow and prosper.
