π·ππΈπΌ A wonderful, beautiful Friday to all! π»πβπ π
More often than not, we ππ people telling us that exercise is π for us. I sometimes wonder π€π€¨, is it really π for us πβ Nope, I will not be sharing any research π©π»βπ¬βοΈππ‘ numbersπ’or data ππππ that will prove whether it is or it is not but this is more of an experience π.
For the past week πππ , I did not have much β to exercise πββοΈ. And when I say exercise, it usually means sweating it out π π¦, huff and puff π€, you know, feeling really worked out πͺ. For the entire week π , I felt quite πππ€π π‘π°, with work π»π±π, with anything for that matter. And the truth is, this is when you just do not π«βfeel π π ββοΈ like you are in a mood for anything much except to go through your daily routine π΅. The funny thing is, when you are feeling like this πππ€π , it requires quite a bit of πeffort to push πyourself to do something like to exercise.
So today, since it is Friday, I pushed πmyself πΆβto go for a swim πββοΈ. With a sunny sky βοΈ waiting β³ for me (too bad I couldn't bring my phone π΅π± into the pool, else I could do a #actifit and see how swimming πββοΈ affects the π± app's steps count.. remind πme ππββοΈto get one of those phone waterproof protectors), into the pool I went. I πββοΈ and πββοΈ for about 4οΈ5 minutes β, then I tried to "jog π" in the pool. After about an hour's worth of workout, I stepped π out of the pool.
After a good shower πΏ and a shade tanner π€π»π€π½ , I felt very good π€©, pumped up πͺ in fact. Just feeling like a sense of accomplishment π©βπ , full of energy like an energizer bunny π, fully charged like our smartphone π± battery π.
I do know that exercising ππ€ΌββοΈπ€ΈββοΈβΉπ€ΎββοΈπππ§ββοΈπππ€½ββοΈπ£ββοΈπ΄ββοΈππΆββοΈ releases endorphins. Some form of a happy π high ππππππ β I was so pumped up π€ΈββοΈπ€ΈββοΈ that I started cleaning the house, sweeping, mopping and I did the laundry πππ too. All in all, it felt goooood ππ€ ππ. And compared to what I was feeling πππ€π π‘π° during the week, this is a good day βππ.
So, push yourself to work out some sweat π (people say for two to three times a week), because I can assure you, you will feel good ππ€π after. You will feel healthier, your posture πΆ will be straighter π, you will walk πΆββοΈmore confidently , your muscles ποΈββοΈwill feel toner πͺ and you will feel π happier π.
BUT remember π§ π to always exercise within your limits. Do not π«β overdo it because you will not feel good after π€’π€π€. Your muscles πͺ and joints will tell π¬ you so or might even scream π± their muscles out π to you.
Go on, go for a runπββοΈ, or cycle π΄ββοΈ or go climbing π§ββοΈ or some yoga π§ββοΈπ§ββοΈ or go play some ποΈββοΈ, or go swimming πββοΈ, or go play some tennisπΎ or baseball π or pingpong π or maybe badminton πΈ, how about kayaking π£, or rock climbing π§ββοΈ, or go play some bowling π³, or just go dancing ππΊ. Even if it is for 20 minutes, you will feel good πͺβπ after. But start with baby πΆπΌ steps π£. You can even ππΊ at π‘, just turn on Youtube π»and ππΊ away! And after a good workout, you can reward πΈπ΅π΄π·πΆ yourself a little ππ§π°π₯, just a little okayβ
π€ Take care ππ. Stay π happy π, stay healthy πππβ€β

Colour ππ¨ your life with beautiful π·ππΈπΌ things that you love ππ.
