As many know in Venezuela several years ago, we have been submerged in a deep crisis. Every day we see how our money is pulverized due to hyperinflation, cities are full of hunger, misery and hatred towards others. So much is the crisis that we live, that many have chosen to leave their family to seek a better future abroad.

I work as a teacher in a university in the state, and the monthly salary that I earn cannot afford to buy food for three days. This is why I have had to look for another income to improve my quality of life. I can not stop thanking Steemit because until today, with this social network, I have been able to cover many of the expenses of my house, however, the problem in Venezuela is not only the scarcity and the overpricing in food, it is the lack of medicines, and it is the insecurity that we live in daily, among many other things.

I have the same idea of many people, of leaving the country to provide a better future for our children; however, in that decision some premises come into play. Family affection is one of the main reasons to stay because we do not want to think about getting away from our loved ones, but we know that being outside we could help them to solve some of their needs (food and medicine).

Venezuela is the country of the most beautiful women, the best cocoa in the world, with the best beaches in the world and the warmth of its people is incomparable, but in recent years it has been considered a dangerous country because crime has increased noticeably and this forces us to stay at home sheltered for longer.

Today, young people are worried about the lack of opportunities to pursue their career, and that the salary for this will not be enough to cover their basic needs. An important aspect to highlight, is that education in Venezuela is free and quality, there are private universities that are not so expensive compared to foreign universities, that is why here you can study up to 3 career, without any problem, if so you wish. I say this, because my children will soon leave school and they will have to travel along that road, but we see how education and work are weakening.

We know that the comforts we have here, in another country will be uphill. We have our own house, our cars, our furniture that we have been able to buy little by little, rather, we have our roots here, but we know that the situation could get worse and another country could provide us with that security and well-being that Venezuelans lack.

There are plenty of reasons to leave the country, but no doubt there are others that are equally valid to do the opposite, the important thing is that my family always remains united and that whatever the decision, let's walk the four (my children, my husband and I ) always in the same direction.
