When he looked at the backyard this morning, he knew he had to pull out mower at the latest in the afternoon.
After lunch, he pulled out the mower and was about to cut the grass in the yard. He heard a murmur, but he did not pay much attention. After a moment, he realized that it was not murmuring, but faint sounds. He listened and tried to figure out where the sounds came from. One voice was a short distance from the door, another was by the fence, and another under the trees on the edge of the backyard. When he focused his attention, he heard this conversation.
"Attention! Attention. He pulled out the mower. Let everyone hide fast.(1)"
"I do not have to hide because I'm beautiful and lets me grow calm.(2)"
"She will not do anything to us, otherwise she would not have delicious blackberries.(3)"
"She can not ride on me. I'm high and still a piece of a branch.(4) "
"She also misses me. Otherwise he would break the mower.(5) "
"So you're worried. Has he ever hurt you? He always cuts only the grass in the yard and leaves the edge for us. Only blackberries should be careful because they are very leaning into the yard.(6) "
He glanced at all the debates and started to cut the grass. He was careful not to hurt the janitors :-D
Když se dnes ráno podíval na dvorek, bylo mu jasné, že musí nejpozději odpoledne vytáhnout sekačku.
Po obědě tedy vytáhl sekačku a chystal se posekat trávu na dvorku. V tom zaslechl nějaký šelest, ale nevěnoval mu velkou pozornost. Po chvíli si uvědomil, že to není šelest, ale slabé hlásky. Zaposlouchal se a snažil se přijít na to, odkud ty hlásky vycházejí. Jeden hlásek byl kousek od dveří, další byly u plotu a další pod stromy na okraji dvorku. Když se pořádně soustředil, zaslechl tento rozhovor.
„Pozor, pozor. Vytáhl sekačku. Rychle se všichni schovejte.(1)“
„Já se schovávat nemusím, protože jsem krásná a mne nechá v klidu růst.(2)“
„Nám také nic neudělá, protože jinak by neměl chutné ostružiny.(3)“
„Na mne se sekačkou nemůže. Jsem vysoko a ještě ke všemu kus větve.(4)“
„Mne také vynechá. Jinak by si sekačku rozbil.(5)“
„Vy tedy máte starosti. Copak vám už někdy ublížil? Vždy vyseká jen trávu na dvorku a okraje nechává v klidu pro nás. Jen ostružina by si měla dát pozor, protože se hodně naklání do dvorku.(6)“
Obhlédl všechny diskutující a pustil se do sekání trávy. Dával při tom pozor, aby těm výtečníkům neublížil :-D
