Welcome back to another issue of Unlocking the Power of Chrome. If you are just joining us, the basic concept is this:
Every two days I will highlight a new Google Chrome extension that I think people might find cool or useful.
If someone suggests an extension in a comment, I will dedicate an issue to that one. If I use the extension they suggest I will give them a shout-out, upvote, resteem, and follow.

Buffer
The extension that I am going to cover today is called Buffer. You can add it to Chrome by visiting the Chrome Webstore here.
The developers also have a webpage that you can visit here.
Buffer is a free-mium service that allows you to post things you find on the web to social media sites with one click. The cool thing is, it spaces the posts out through the day so that you are not clumping everything together at once.
Using Buffer you can schedule your Tweets and Facebook posts to be updated throughout the day. You can also view analytics from the extension to view statistics about retweets, clicks, mentions, shares, and likes.
The free version of Buffer allows you to post to three social media profiles. If you have more than that, you can pay a monthly fee to make that happen. The pricing is on their webpage mentioned above.
If you do a lot of posting of articles and similar content to social media sites, Buffer might be worth checking out. Give it a look when you get the chance!
Many of my posts in this series have been featured in The STEEM Engine and SteamRepair, check them out:
