Hi everyone, here is a little update on my city. I decided to add a West side and it is still very much in development so I would be glad for any ideas you may have, see contest below.
It doesn’t have a name yet so I think I am going to call it Riccoli, that’s a cute name.
As you can see the East side has many industrial buildings which create lots of jobs but also a lot of pollution. The petroleum fueled power plant creates a surplus which the town can sell to neighbors. There is an elementary school, a grocery store, some farmland and a few modern houses. The luxury retirement home has a pool on the roof but the train station is a bit decrepit.
The West side contains City Hall, the farmer’s market as well as the most famous hairdresser in the whole region. A group of environmentalists live in round houses and convinced the mayor to install solar panels everywhere in the hopes of one day getting rid of the polluting oil power plant. Next to the hospital is a cancer research facility sponsored by a local family of aliens from outer space.
