Appetite for Distraction Presents... Second Helpings!
Bonus commentary and educational materials for your enjoyment!

The Imp articulates why a zombie is defined by it's taste for human flesh, while at the same time hinting at his own distaste of humanity!

Beware! "Zombies" can also be found at autonomous units for mid mall snacking... Not sure of the difference? Brody can explain. (Geez, I've been referencing Mallrats alot lately...)

Fun facts!

  • The Paramus Park mall in New Jersey is recognized as having had the first successful food court, having opened in March of 1974.
  • The cheeseburger became popular in the late 1920's to mid 1930's, with several competing claims as to who invented it. I think we can assume that great minds just think alike...
  • Zombies didn't always eat brains! Now a common characteristic in pop culture, this trait didn't appear until the 1985 film, "Return of the Living Dead." Many believe the concept was strengthened by a 1992 Simpson's Tree House of Horror segment. Matthew Belinkie of OverthinkingIt.com reasoned, “millions of kids saw this episode before they were old enough to see a real zombie film. I suspect that for a whole generation, this was the first zombie story we ever saw."
