This strip is about a month early, but it's original publication was more timely... It's being revisited now in a special edition of Appetite for Distraction: Second Helpings! so as not to interrupt the next story arc. Hope you enjoy this crass commercialization while both getting a craving for some sweets, and a moment of reflection on poor cultural values!

- In 2015 there was an uproar on social media, criticizing Reese's for their Peanut Butter Trees decidedly untreelike appearances.
- Martin Luther King Jr. entered college at the age of 15, having been a gifted student who skipped the 9th and 12th grades.
- It is estimated that it would take almost 2000 packages of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups to equal the Imp's body weight. Attempts to directly measure the correlation have failed, as introduction of Peanut Butter Cups to the environment of the subject cause constant changes in the equation, as Cups disappear and the subject's mass grows.
