This is my first entry for Bahbahra buddy contest initiated by @tattoodjay I found these little buddies for Bahbahra while doing a very slow, photo walk at night in Lisbon Portugal a few weeks ago.
While we were on our slow walk up the many hills of Lisbon we passed a wool shop. It was closed and had those burglar bars on the front of the window. As we passed we noticed these two little woolen dolls sitting behind the glass and bars of the window.
This is Birdy. He doesn't seem to be happy to be in the hoosegow but then who would be?
This is Stripey Cat. He's been in the greybar hotel so long that the outside world is just a blur now.
They looked pretty sad and we hatched a plan to liberate them in the off chance that we may pass that way again when the shop was open.
Sadly, we never got back that way and these little guys are probably still banged up. Shame.
They may never ever get to smell the roses? You can always become pen-pals I suppose and send them photos of roses?
Brainwave moment: Maybe Bahbahra could use their influence and get a freedom campaign going?
