You grasp the mic, and with lips close you begin to sing, terribly, a flattery to Cthulhu. Its head rears back and listens to every word you dare to utter in its presence. You go on and on for an hour with your heartfelt praise, choking up but you manage to recover quickly. As soon as you finish, you take a few steps back and collapse, just saved in the nick of time by your band mates.

Everyone stares at Cthulhu. Its tentacle-hands grasping its tentacle-beard, Cthulhu thinks over what you have dared to speak in its presence. Soon you hear a gurgling a happy response that you barely can understand. Then you see Oddy fully collapsed in a prayer pose. He begs and begs, but Cthulhu squashes him under its clawed, webbed foot. Recovering its foot, you can see not even dust remains of Oddy, that insane person.

Then, the gigantic monster demands obedience from all the freaks, and they surrender. You stand there astonished and begin, with your band, to froth in the mouth. Then you hear a distinct snap, you and your band mates see Cthulhu’s hand still in the snapping finger pose. It contorts its hands, pointing downwards and then shouldering its arms as it looks down at you.

You have no other choice but to bow to the Great Cthulhu too. You and your bandmates assume the position along with the freaks, for hours it goes on and Cthulhu snaps its fingers. Ceasing the bowing motion, Cthulhu instructs you to take a rest, but not before letting you know it expects you to report to its throne sharp in dawn of the next day.

The Great Old One rules over the island, and you’re obliged to play night and day to please it.
