Creative Street had been so busy last Christmas Season and here's one of the activity we did in collaboration with Lunas Ph, Handog ng Himig at Hiraya (Gift of Music and Imagination).
FACE PAINTING for FUNDRAISING
for the medication of Lunas Ph's beneficiary who is a child diagnosed with cancer.
Each face painting session is just Php 20.00 (~0.38 USD) to make it affordable for everyone who wants to help. 100% of the fund raised were contributed to the medication of the said child.
Not only the children enjoyed this event but also their parents and some adults who also tried to get their face painted by the Creatives.
The artists of Creative Street also enjoyed painting and watching these children delighted with their paintings. Variety of designs were made, from simple flowers, to cartoon and anime characters, logos to unicorns and even complex paintings.
Lunas Ph is an artsy event for a cause started by Dr. Merlyn Soriano to raise fund for the children with cancer. Lunas Ph started last September 2017 together with young artists around Cavite showcasing their artworks which are for sale, for fundraising too. T There is also music with performing bands and musicians. Bazaars and spa. here's workshops not only arts but also about life and insurance. The event place is Dra. Merlyn's own garden, which she designed and organized.
UPDATES on next activities:
- Creative Street Core will be having its first annual meeting and planning for 2019 this January
- There will be merchandise to get more funds for the workshops
- The first workshop on this year will be held at General Trias, Cavite. Date : TBA
