In the newest version of EXODUS - which is a wonderful and beautiful wallet for PCs - DECRED is supported.
For those of you who don't know what DECRED is, it is a currency with its own blockchain and some badass developers who have already managed to implement lightning network.
DECRED currently sits at 31 on coinmarketcap:
I was a little skeptical of DCR because they are 1/2 and 1/2 PoW and PoS. Furthermore, their PoS system through their wallet is a little complicated for my taste.
In fact, after transferring some DCR to my DCR wallet, I had almost decided to move it to some other currency. I was all set to transfer it to EXODUS and then Shapeshift it into litecoin or bitcoin or ETH and be done with it.
Well - I put in the address on my DCR wallet (which actually had a bug that wouldn't let me use decimals,) and hit SEND.
AT THIS POINT - MY MIND ABOUT DCR WAS PROMPTLY CHANGED!
The transaction hit my exodus wallet almost simultaneously as I hit the send button. IT WAS AMAZING.
FOR ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN A TRUELY FUNCTIONAL WALLET AND CURRENCY - CHECK OUT DECRED, coupled with EXODUS. IT IS AMAZING!
