An update on HEROcoin - eSports betting made in Austria!

If you have been reading my blog for a little bit longer, you will probably remember my reports about Austrian crypto-project HEROcoin - a currency for eSports-betting on the platform Herosphere. A few days have passed since my latest update - but that of course doesn't mean that the guys and girls at HERO have stopped working ;) But now it's time for me to give you guys a new update and my view on things!

PLAY added on a new exchange

The most important thing for both users and investors probably was the implementation of the PLAY token on a second exchange - Kucoin. Here is a straight link to the pair BTC/PLAY. Adding a second exchange seems to have been a great move - especially since most of the volume is alreay handled over Kucoin rather than over the old exchange Coinbene.

Of course the price of HEROcoin (PLAY) dropped a lot since the last update from my side - But what cryptocurrency didn't? And for me this is not about short-term gains - I wouldn't have sold anyways. The improvements (which we will cover later this post) and the perspectives of the industry both look great - so I am quite optimistic the price will rise again ;)

A better user interface

A great looking and easy usable user interface is one of the key parts when it comes down to success of a platform - And it seems as if the people from HERO are well aware of that. At least you can assume that when looking at their latest updates on their new UI.

Definitely looks appealing and easy understandable to me - What do you guys think?

Real Madrid feat. HERO?!

What do the Spanish soccer club Real Madrid and HEROcoin have in common? Well, they both were in Eibar's stadium recently ;)

For Real Madrid - winning 2-1 due to Ronaldo - it was definitely worth it - But I think it was also a very nice marketing move from HERO!

The legal thing

One of the things I like most about HERO is the fact that they seem to proactively think about possible legal issues and try to take care of them. According to their media statements, they are in close contact with experienced lawyers all the time. Combined with their frequent updates on HERO's facebook page , this makes the product seem trustable - A thing many projects in the crypto industry lack in my opinion. This is another reason why I like this project and why I report about it.

Here is just one example where there COO, Bernhard Blaha, is talking about the licensing process: COO Bernhard on HEROs licensing strategy

The future of eSports is bright?!

If you think that the whole industry around eSports still has a lot of potential, you are not alone - Everyone Is Betting On Growth Of Esports Wagering In 2018.

You can also take a look at this interview (Ask The Heroes - Straight Talk From The CEO) if you want to see what HERO's CEO, Paul Polterauer, has to say regarding this topic.

But I think most of you won't doubt the enormous potential of eSports anyways ;)

HERO Blockchain Meet-Up #2

If you want to get the most recent updates and you live close to Vienna - or happen to be there by accident - you should check out the HERO Blockchain Meet-Up #2 which takes place on March 22nd at HERO's office building weXelerate.

What do you think about the HEROcoin? What do you like about it - what do you not like about it? Who are the competitors and how do they performe compared to HERO?

Looking forward to seeing some opinions! :)

Greets,
Martin

P.S.: Regarding the current prices of crypto, I think sharing this picture from their facebook to close this post seems fitting ;)

Disclaimer: I am not working for HERO - However I am invested in HEROcoin myself, so my views could be biased therefore. Do not take this post as a reason to invest or a call to invest into something. This is just my personal opinion about a product I like. All image rights belong to HERO unless stated otherwise.
