Hey everyone!
As you know I am a very active curator and love to read posts on the daily and reward them accordingly. With the new influx of new users and increased activity lately its been harder and harder to keep my voting power efficient.
For those who are not aware of it, you can check your voting power at steemd.com/@yourusername.It takes a full 5 days to regain your full voting power if you have gone on a voting spree and put it down to 0%. One 100% vote uses 0.5% of your voting power which means that after 200 full votes you will reach 0% and your votes won't have any influence on posting rewards or curation rewards.
For those who some times ask me in steemit.chat why I only voted with a 30% vote on their post instead of 100% this is basically the reason - I want to be able to vote and support as many authors as possible, but if I were to vote 100% on each of you my voting power would quickly disappear.
That is not the only reason though since of course some posts deserve more rewards than others and a lot of times I also vote my own posts with a smaller % as to not affect my voting power too much.
Anyway, just wanted to make a quick post about this to clarify to new users why I don't vote with a 100% weight.
I am currently at 70% voting power efficiency and will be voting with a smaller % over the next few days to let it rise some more.
