I'm always interested on checking new projects built on the blockchain.

Just found out about Datum, they're building a spot market for data by turning user and device generated data into tradeable assets.

Datum decentralizes and distributes user data using the blockchain. It'll make available to trade social media, internet activity, health and wellness apps, wearables, smart home, smart car and other IOT devices data in a safe and private way.

It empowers individuals giving them the control of their data again.
Datum is suitable for everyone, from End users to companies.

I believe that big data companies will be even more important in the future, since this is a field with a lot of room to grow.
The project sounds really interesting and can have a good growth in the upcoming years.
