This is my official application for the position of the Serbian Translator at the translation project of @utopian-io and @davinci.witness.
Greetings DaVinci team! My username means spaceman and I am currently settled in Serbia. I hold Master's degree in astrophysics, and I am currently enrolling to a PhD program in Australia. Apart from astrophysics I hold a 2nd degree black belt in Aikido. Until recently I worked as a high school physics teacher, but I resigned because of recent developments in my scientific career. So now, I am all into crypto and enjoying life until the project starts.
As one of the founding members of TeamSerbia community and a regular author in steemSTEM and yu-STEM communities I can see that inside TeamSerbia and yu-STEM there are great authors who struggle with the English language. One of the main reasons for applying on this position is to bring them closer to articles written in English, but also to share their great content with a much broader audience. This way we would populate steemit with higher quality posts which will attract new users.
Pozdrav za DaVinči tim! Ja sam svemirac i trenutno sam u Srbiji. Završio sam Master iz astrofizike i trenutno sam u procesu upisivanja na doktorske studije u Australiji. Pored astrofizike treniram aikido i imam crni pojas, drugi dan. Do skoro sam radio u srednjoj školi kao nastavnik fizike, gde sam prekinuo radni odnos radi daljeg usavršavanja u svetu nauke. U principu, trenutno sam posvećen kripto svetu i uživanju u životu.
Kao jedan od osnivača zajednice TeamSerbia (TS) i redovan autor u steemSTEM i yu-STEM zajednicama mogu da primetim da unutar TS i yu-STEM zajednica postoje odlični autori koji se muče sa Engleskim jezikom. Jedan od glavnih razloga za prijavljivanje za poziciju prevodioca jeste da njima približim tekstove na Engleskom jeziku, ali isto tako i da njihove odlične tekstove predstavim mnogo široj publici. Ovo će doprineti povećanju kvalitetnih postova na steemitu što će uticati na priliv novih članova.
