Original Drawing - My Shih Tsu "Lucy Loo"

Hello, fellow Steemians! Today I present to you "Lucy Loo" or just "Lucy". She is the oldest of our three dogs. We got her on December 27th, 2002, so she is getting up there in age. My son chose her when he was four years, and he picked the runt of the litter. Lucy was quite tiny and in ill health, but flourished under our care. When she was younger, she was a natural at soccer, head butting the ball. Now in her older years, she sounds like an old engine, gasping and spluttering when walking her. Now a little blind and a little deaf, one needs to be careful when out walking with her as Lucy tends just to stop and flip over on her back, and if you don't notice you will end up dragging her. (Not a pleasant sight to see your husband dragging your Shih Tsu across the asphalt, on her back!) Lucy now a senior dog, lives up to her gender, a bitch to a tee. She will barely tolerate the second oldest Carlos (the Havanese) and has no time for the youngest Chico (the chihuahua). Lucy takes great pleasure in making her presence know by barking needlessly. She will stand in front of you, bark, bark, bark, and as soon as you reach to pick her up, she will back-up. Rinse and repeat until owners lose their mind. Lucy has us all under her little paw, as she runs the household.

Early beginnings. I am using Ipad Pro with the Apple Pencil, and the app Procreate.

Pretty rough looking at this stage. I was having issues with the hidden eye.

Reference photo is mine.

P.S. If anyone has a highly detailed photo of their dog, I would love to draw him/her for you and make a post like this. Feel free to message me or leave a link to your image in the comments.
