I present the new faces for Steemy! This is an exciting moment and will push my work with Adobe Character Animator forward. Expect some really nice new Steemy episodes soon.
I ran a Steemgig to find an illustrator to give Steemy a set of ten new emotions as well as a redesign of the basic layout. The winner of my contest was @em3di who delivered exactly what I was hoping for: Very simplistic but fun faces that work with the previous design and layout. He added blue borders to everything in order to increase the contrast on black backgrounds and I think it works really well with Steemy. He also dyed the hands blue.
I am happy that this sets another showcase of how amazing Steemit is to connect people, create work opportunities and offer alternative payment methods. The entire gig was done with Steem which is good for the ecosystem because it increases the value and usability of it. And you can refinance the project by posting about it.
