Such picture was shown in the Doctor Who series about Vincent Van Gogh. I saw it and thought: I want to have that:) So, today I've already submitted a story about the artist, now it's time to submit my painting based on his style (again, the idea is not mine, it's a copy from the movie). So, as, usual, final result first:
I start with a rough sketch:
And the color layer was started with Tardis:
The splashes are mix of yellow, titanium white and red:
I add more red for the twists:

The base is mainly indigo:

It's oil, as always in such artworks of mine. Now I'm waiting when it gets dry ti hang:)
