In today's episode you get to witness the complete transformation of an overgrown backyard jungle into a beautiful grow area. With an only partially working lawnmower, this proved to be much more difficult than anticipated. I also begin re-construction of my in ground/raise bed area, and decided to make it larger for more grow space as well.

If there was only one piece of advise I could give for early in the season, it would be to ALWAYS CHECK THE WEATHER FORECAST!! When we went to San Francisco/Oakland for the weekend, of course the weather in Portland spiked to over 90 degrees when I only instructed my roommate to water once. As a result, my plants burned in the sun. If I would have checked the weather, the plants would have received more water than usual, and in all likelihood would have experienced healthy growth instead of singed leaves.

I treated the plants by manicuring damaged sections of leaves with scissors, and completely removing some leaves that were too far gone (as well as topping one plant). There has not been much sun since our trip, so lets just say the plants have not been through an ideal situation lately. Most of them however have since rebounded.
