10... I just counted 10 doorways in my house, no wonder I can't finish anything, can you imagine having to cross those every day, you go on to get your IDK Dragonite figurine in the other room and you cross that damn threshold and BAM your mind is blank, AND IT'S FUCKING ANNOYING I know it happens to you too, I know because it even has a name it called THE DOORWAY EFFECT

Now that I have your attention with that not-at-all trippy gif, let us ask ourselves, what is the doorway effect?... I don't know why are we asking ourselves that because I already explained that, is just that, you cross a doorway and that thing in your mind is gone! LIKE MAGIC
But of course the brain is a lot more complicated and sophisticated than simple magic (oh @elfranz you're such a muggle, well muggles have the best technology, just try to download The Witcher III with a fucking owl Hermoine), ypu see the brain likes to handle information and memories in packages, each of these packages are stored and organized properly but when a doorway appears is where the fun begins
A doorway acts like trigger signaling the brain that we just entered a new environment, so the brain makes a quick reset of information, it makes sense because entering a new environment and recollecting information about it is a really good idea, but sometimes information gets lost in the process, so yeah, you end up doing a Travolta and completely forgetting about your Dragonite figurine
