For those who don't know, EOS uses both public adresses AND usernames much like Steem. When your EOS was transferred to the main net you got your own randomly generated 12 letter account.
If you want to create your own account name, you can do that with Eostoolkit but it HAS to have 12 letters. Early adopters snatched all the awesome 12 letter words out there within a few days (but perhaps there are some hidden gems that no one thought about?)
For other types of account names, EOS is running an auction (also accessable on eostoolkit) where they auction off suffixes. Only the owner of a suffix, for example .eos will be able to create the account hello.eos or anything.eos. They can create as many accounts as they want and then sell them.
As EOS grows and new projects and dapps and customers join the space, they will need accounts. Even for customer accounts something like 111.eos and 112.eos could be attractive. But I can imagine that the "legacy" 12 letter accounts with great words like @cryptovienna or @cryptoassets or any other unique "high quality" name will be in high demand.
So what we need is a market place for accounts where we can find out the correct market value!
EOS Account Market
So I recently came in contact with a fellow named Nico Wehmöller who like that just created https://eos-account-market.com/#
Since I am no developer, I had to take the long route to contact more tech savvy people and ask if this site is legit. After a while I found out that @wehmoen has worked for Utopian-io as lead engineer and that he is developing for Steem as well.
He has also created something called eosconnect which will interact with the website and make the buy/sell process possible.
Please take a look at, and review his code here

We really need a market for p2p account trading on EOS, so if you're a developer or in other ways handy with the crypto - I urge you to take a look at this. As for people who are interested in buying and selling you can join @scandinavianlife's Discord and say hello in the #eos channel.
