Hello Steemians,
New release comes with exciting changes, cover images for profile page. You can now set up cover image on your profile along side of profile picture. Some navigation improvements and fixes on follows page and submission of story.
Backend notification improvements are being rolled out for next few days to get ready for more notification types such as mentions, subscription to category, etc. You may expect some downtimes, please bear with us so that we can improve backend to handle more parallel notifications. Given 3 seconds block time is very short in some cases to notify subscribed users as well as check mentioned users, category subscriptions but once it is properly implemented, it will bring more joy to users.... ;-)
