Happy Friday all my foodie friends. It's been a crazy week for the @farm-mom.
With just one phone call, my week was consumed with worry, city driving and lots of prayers.
My youngest sister had a heart attack, she's only 53 y/o, but she is an injured little love who was in a car accident 23 years ago that left her paralyzed from the chest down. Her life has been tough, but what I love so much about her, is her will to live.
She's the type of person who tries everyday to over come her challenges and stay positive. IT'S NOT EASY.
I admire her so much, love her to the nth degree and will be there for her until I can no longer breathe.
Dorothy's life may be hard, and some people would have given up long ago, but not my baby sista, she's a fighter.
To all my #fff friends, if prayers are in your wheel house, send some our way, I believe in prayer and I thank God my little DE
is still fighting hard to stay with us.
Sorry if I bummed anyone out, this was not my intention, nor do I expect any sympathy, because I know all of us face challenges everyday.
The update is wonderful, after some stent placement and bed rest, my little sister is doing really great. Going home tomorrow. YEAH!!

Last week @thebigsweed and I went to Vestal NY to purchase new flooring for our master bedroom. After a successful purchase of some awesome material, we were hungry.
STAR BUFFET... so much to eat, food coma guaranteed.
There were so many beautiful, healthy dishes available, the drool was hard to control.
The seafood was clean and so flavorful, I always try to identify the spices and seasoning so just maybe I can re-create it at home.
Made quick work on this seafood plate...take it away...…….
This place was clean and warm, in the comfort zone for maximum consumption.
There was no stopping us from the final move to DESERT.
I always have Chinese tea when I am in these types of restaurants, just love it's sweet flavor.
Although I am not a lover of sushi, the display was impressive. It must have been really good because there was a constant stream of customers.
All and all it was a fabulous day, filled my back trunk with new flooring and filled my belly with Great Food.
Who could ask for anything more.
Except the price...left happy.
Oh, by the way, I was away from our #homestead for 6 days, when I returned, the master bedroom was a masterpiece. The walls painted and redesigned and the floor was installed with the trim work completed. Wow was I impressed.
