.........................happened a mere 30,000 years ago. A great many species of animals heavier than 40kg died inexplicably. Oddly enough the western hemisphere was effected the worst. Africa,Asia, Europe...not so much. Australia, North and South America...extensively.
Back at the cop shop
..... a very irate city councilman was in a heated discussion with the Chief of Police. He was most unhappy about the death of his son and wanted someone’s head. From the sound of it he would settle for the head of the police chief if nothing else. The Chief did his best to calm the councilman down.
"We may have a suspect” he said "I’ll send a couple of officers to bring him in for questioning”.
“See that you do. If you don’t find who killed my son you’ll regret it.” the councilman snarled.
