The trending page is supposed to represent the top quality of Steemit/Busy.

Who are we attracting when we have the same Trenders trending all the time? Are we kidding ourselves?

There is so much quality on Steemit, but it floats by perhaps stopping at hot for a brief moment. If Trenders are unwilling to present constant top cream of the crop high quality content, we should flag/downvote them. Their rewards are overvalued.

The system cannot work if the majority are unwilling to wield their flags.

Lower SP users have skewed the system by not being aware of the importance of flagging. If we want to market the Steem blockchain we should start by making the trending page interesting.

Downvote/flag overvalued content. It's eating the reward pool and preventing maximal growth. We need to get serious if we are going to make the Steem blockchain big.
