Morning on my side of the world and that means smoothie time. How are you all doing today? Living in Cambodia makes you forget about the Holiday season. But I bet most of you are getting caught up in the Xmas craze right now.
Whether you like this time of the year or not, there is no escaping the Xmas trees and presents, unless you come and visit us here ;)
In this sleepy town, we are preparing for the high season that is about to hit. It's gonna be the first one owning an actual business over here and we are getting a little excited. Though the bakery has been busy from the start, the high season will be a crazy few months and after that a well-earned Holiday.
Visiting my godchild, family, and friends in Belgium is definitely on the list, but some beach time on a tropical island is on our list as well.
But first things first, taking the bakery to the next level and make this lovely, no-rain, season a success. And what a better way than to start this new day with a yummy, green morning drink?
What are your plans to start 2019?
HEMPY PEANUT BUTTER TROPICAL MORNING BOOSTER
INGREDIENTS (serves 2 for breakfast)
1 carrot, peeled and roughly chopped
3 big leaves Chinese cabbage (napa cabbage)
1 mango
1.5 cup papaya chunks
2 passion fruits
1-2 tbsp peanut butter (I used homemade)
2 tbsp hemp hearts
1 tbsp goji berries
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
Toppings: coconut flakes, goji berries, mulberries and cranberries
Water as needed

DIRECTIONS
- Blend Chinese cabbage and water until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base and blend again. If you have a high-speed blender you can blend everything at once.
- Optional: Top with superfoods/topping you like.
