Beef Lok Luck is very famous dish in Cambodia. Beef lok Luck it's mean, very fast frying in a very hot pan.
It's kind of luxury food for the Cambodian peoples when they go to the restaurant. It is nice to serve with steam rice, but we can also eat with french fries.
Bief Lok lak (4 to 5 peoples)
Ingredients
1 Kilo good beef
2 onion
1 big Salad
5 tomatoes
1 cucumber
5 cloves garlic chopped
1 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons oyster sauce
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup of water
Place the cornstarch in a cup of water and mix very good, then set it a side.
Preparing dipping sauce
1 lemon
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
50 ml water
Place black pepper, salt, sugar, into a bowl, then add water and mix it very good. Squash lemon into the sauce, then set it a side.
Cut the meat in cube shape, then place it in a big bowl. Cut the onion thinly slice and add the onion all Ingredient sauce on top of the meat and mix it very good. Set it a side for about ten minutes.

Clean the salad very good and place it on a big plate. Cut cucumber and tomatoes thinly slice, put on top of the salad.
Place a pan on the hot fire, add de vegetable. Let the oil became very warm, then add the chopped garlic and beef in the pan and fry it very fast. Don't cook the meat too long, otherwise the meat can be dry. Add the mixed cornstarch on the meat and keep fry it for about 1 minute. Place the meat immediately on the salad plate. Serve with steam rice of French fries.
