Heya Steemian,
It was very hard to get back to work after the great experience I had at Steem Fest. But, to make my days sweeter and to overcome the nostalgia, I baked some delicious and addictive biscuits, with a gentle touch of lavender.

The flavor is more like a shortbread, you know the buttery biscuit, made in England.
And they are so easy to make and perfect with a cup of coffee or tea. This recipe changed my life: I will never buy biscuits, ok...except Oreos :)
INGREDIENTS for 50 pieces
- 250 g butter softened(80% fat)
- 200 g caster sugar
- 500 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon lavender flowers
HOW TO PREPARE
Don't get scared! I told you it's not a difficult job.

- Preheat the oven at 180C/mark 2.
- Beat the butter with sugar.
- Add the flour, eggs and lavender. Knead lightly until you get a smooth and elastic dough. You can play with it as you used to when you were a child. It feels like a plasticine. Oh, how much I loved that!
- Cut them using a biscuit shape. If you don't have one, use a glass.
- Bake for 15 to 20 mins, until the biscuits are pale golden brown at the edges. Leave them on a wire rack to cool completely.
Btw, they are perfect as gift. Wrap them in a pretty bag, add a greeting card and now, you have your DIY gifts for the holidays!
Till next time,
