Food. Black bred with egg and tomato.

 Black bread is a traditional dish in Estonia. On average , its eaten 40 kg per person per year. 

Black bread contains Rye flour ,B- vitamin, fiber, E-vitamin, leaven and many minerals.

Teaching leaven bread baking:

  • 1 liter warm, not hot water
  • leaven
  • 5 dl rye flour

Leave to stand for 12 hours. After add salt , sugar and cumin. Bake at 250 degrees for about 20 minutes and then at 200 degrees for 25-35 minutes.
