Steemed, I Mean... Steamed Veggies, Baked Sweet Potato and Quinoa

A yummy veggie delight that is easy to make and ready in under 30 minutes.


What's in it?

• broccoli
• cauliflower
• green beans
• carrots
• sugar peas
• sweet potato
• quinoa
• soy sauce
• pepper

  • Cook the sweet potato in the oven at 350 (I don't count this in the time).
  • After about 20 minutes start the quinoa, and the vegetables.
  • Make however much you want. Chop it up into smaller pieces. Smaller takes less time, but it also allows you to taste multiple vegetables at the same time to increase the palette flavor.
  • Steam for 5-10 minutes, or until it's to your desired softness.
  • Add whatever spices you want. Some fresh oregano and basil is nice if you have it, or dried too.

Yum :)

I put the hot sweet potato underneath everything so it acts like a thermal heater and keeps things warmer longer, maybe... LOL. The quinoa is also there, although you see a few pieces on the top. A piece of bright orange sweet potato is popping out at the bottom beside a carrot as well :P
