The soft sweet summer feel of watermelon to go with the crispy crunch of romaine, and the tang of dijon to make things wild!
What's in it?
• romaine salad
• mushroom
• onion
• celery
• carrot
• watermelon
Use however much you want, in whatever ratios you like :)
Dressing:
• dijon mustard (1tb)
• olive oil (1tsp)
• balsamic vinegar (sprinkle)
• garlic (1 clove)
• pepper
- Like the other salad, chop the pieces smaller to get more in at once :) Except the carrots, grate those small (I do this last though).
- For the dressing, this time with garlic. Use a fine blade, and slice garlic in 1/2, then put each half on its side and slice down into thin pieces. Then, chop those thin pieces length and width wise, to make it fine. Sprinkled some salt on it, then grind it down with the side of your knife. This will crush the garlic into a paste. Mix with the rest of dressing ingredients.
- Mix in the drressing into the romaine salad alone. Then add the rest of the veggies and fruits however you want. I add them in the order I put the ingredients.
- Normally I mix in the pepper with the dressing and romaine, but this time I forgot, and put it on top of the carrots.
Yum :)
Enjoy
