Pancakes (oladki) with cottage cheese (my version of the recipe)

Pancakes (oladki) is a culinary product, Russian, Ukrainian dishes as fried flat cakes of batter mixed with the yogurt (buttermilk) or milk, flour and eggs. The difference between pancakes gives them the use of soda or yeast in the dough, making pancakes magnificent.


Ingredients:

1 egg

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup or 200 ml of yogurt or buttermilk

1 cup or 100 grams of flour

50 g cottage cheese

Vegetable oil for frying


Step 1: Mix the egg with the sugar and salt.
Step 2: Add the buttermilk or yogurt, some soda, mix well, then add the flour ..
Step 3: Curd, add a second portion the soda mixture. Gently mix.

Step 4: Heat your pan with a small amount of vegetable oil for frying and put about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into the pan.
Step 5: To turn and fry for them at the other side for 5 minutes.

Serve immediately with sour cream and strawberry jam.
