Stuffed bread - delicious tidbit for the weekend

Today I'll share on of my favorite tidbits for the cold season. It's a stuffed bread with chorizo, ham, and cheese, and it's great if you are receiving people at your place! You and your friends won't be able to stop till it ends! :)

Hope you enjoy!!

Ingredients

(3 persons)

  • Rustic bread (400 g)
  • 100 g chorizo
  • 35 g sausage
  • 120 g grated emmental/ mozzarella cheese
  • 50 g grated spicy cheese (cheese of Azores)
  • 150 g chicken/ turkey ham
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 mayonnaise bushel soup spoon
  • black pepper & oreganos
  • aluminium foil

Finely chop the onion, garlic, chorizo, sausage (I used a food chopper)and the ham in cubes (guess next time I'll chop all the ingredients). Mix them in a bowl.

Add the cheese, mayonnaise and season with the black pepper and oreganos. Mix again.

Fill the bread with the mixture and put it on a tray

Cover the bread and wrap with aluminium foil

Wrap all the bread

Put it in the oven, for about 40 m in 180 - 200ºC! Uncover it and join the bread crumb slices to toast for about 20 m or less.

You may serve the red wine because the stuffed bread is ready!

First, you can eat the sliced toasts, then you can break the bread...till nothing's left!!

P.S.- I've used Alentejo local products (bread, chorizo and wine)
