Mark Crispin Miller is a tenured professor at New York University where he teaches a course on propaganda.
"I have been observing and studying the media as a critic and scholar since the late 70's. Most academics are like most journalists -- touching certain subjects is career suicide, whether you are applying for academic grants to do research or whether you are working for a producer or an editor at a news outlet -- it is really quite dangerous to grapple with the awful truth."
When Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe was censored last spring, professor Miller saw the red flags immediately.
He says that the use of the "Conspiracy Theory" meme --- to discredit people engaged in necessary kinds of investigation and inquiry, to freeze all journalistic discussion of certain issues that have become taboo --- is used in our system as surely as certain subjects would be banned outright in a totalitarian system.
So when Robert DeNiro pulled the film "VaxXed" from the Tribeca Film Festival last spring, he immediately recognized all the warning signs of this kind of tendency.
Professor Miller invited Del Bigtree to come show the VaxXed film and speak to the students in his Propaganda Class.
