Let's just see what are the main factors of poverty in the 21 century. Now this was different in any century, in the middle ages you basically starved to death if the crops didn't grow, or if some barbarians sacked your village.
But we live in the 21 century, and now there are different concerns, factors that do create poverty. Look I am a middle class person, but I have many poor contacts, I am in contact with many poor villagers, and I know more about poverty than these idiot campus liberals who basically get everything for free on other people's backs.
Taxes and Regulations
Yep, taxes and regulations are the only barrier between poverty and prosperity. If you eliminate both, humans can prosper once again.
After all having a society based on theft and prohibition will never lead to self-sufficiency and excellence, but will rather lead to a ghetto full of poor people, some of them on welfare, some of them doing drugs, prostitution, and other things.
I have wrote about this earlier how a farmer that a friend told me about got fined heavily for selling high quality bio-food, but without a license. So now he had to pay 1 month of his earnings to pay his fines.
So let's think about this, we have a guy who is selling high quality bio-food, it's not like he is putting cyanide in it, and rotten food can easily be distinguished from healthy food, besides the pesticide can be washed off (unless it's GMO genetic pesticide, which is another topic). So this guy is selling good food, doesn't harm anybody, but still gets fined and loses 1 month of revenue because he didn't had a magic toilet paper.
This is the world we live in, you try to escape poverty, and a bureaucrat is basically spitting on your face, and tells you that you can't.
And I know many more cases like this that are well known in the farming community, where old pensioner ladies were just trying to sell some tomatoes that they have self-grown, and basically got jailed for it.
Yes in some countries in Europe, you go to jail if you sell a tomato without a license. So you have this poor old lady, that has paid into a pension system, but gets little back from it ,because it's just a ponzi scheme that has to keep payouts low. This old woman barely survives on pensions, so she tries to sell some tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, and she gets 3 months of jail because she did it without a license.
Can you believe this? So all you idiot campus liberals out there who are just eager to push for more taxes and regulations in the name of "helping the poor", you are responsible for this.
All you idiot liberals are responsible for sending this old lady to jail. And then you call yourselves the moral ones, by virtue signaling to the poor.
This is how disconnected these political theorists are from reality. If you want to learn more about the poor, then go visit some poor people and ask them why are they poor and what prohibits them from rising up to wealth?
And after you realized that it's the bureaucracy, the regulations, the taxes, and in general the government tyranny that is responsible for all the poverty, misery and suffering in the world. You will realize that only freedom can save humanity.
