Prompt of the day “Passenger”

Even though I really enjoy driving I also enjoy being a passenger in my own car. Typically when Mel and I go up island I am the one driving unless I’m too tired from working all day.

I have found recently my desire to be a passenger has increased because it allows me the freedom to record the things that I wish for content creation. The other side of that equation is having my fiancé operate the camera, she does a pretty good job despite not wanting to capture herself and being a little uncomfortable with onlookers. She is just like me hates attracting more attention than necessary.

You can say I’m using this as an opportunity to help build her camera skills. I have been finding it very handy controlling the car instructing her what I wish to capture. Being able to take the routes needed and have her get the shots exactly as I would like she is almost better at operating the camera than myself.

It’s all in preparation for when my dream of travelling vlogging becomes a reality, I will need Mel to at least operate the camera. Furthermore it’s building her confidence for operating the camera with onlookers, the next step is to start building her confidence being on camera in public.

She is my rock and if I wish to make this dream become reality I need her by my side encouraging and supporting me while participating in everything that we do along our travels. I have the ability to make something out of nothing while she has an eye for the finer details, together we will be unstoppable!
