Have you ever stopped and though about all the ways that cats are inferior to dogs? I have been giving it a lot of thought lately. Cats just meander about not really caring if you give them attention, but dogs are always happy to see you. Dogs always run up and lick you and jump all over, while cats just ignore you and come up when they need something. Another thing about cats is there constant need to knock things off of the counters and tables. I really think that they do this on purpose. My cats even do it when they are staring at me sometimes because they know that it is annoying. Our cat Sammy likes to get into the garbage and take stuff out and play with it at night and leave it all over the house. Another thing weird about cats is how they are always up all night long running all over the house. I think this is when they are plotting to kill their humans. SO many cultures think cats are evil and try to steal your souls or your breath while you are sleeping and I wouldn't doubt if there is some truth to that.
But after all of the weird stuff about cats, I still think my cats are awesome, even if they are inferior to dogs in every way. Even though they like to puke on the back of the couch or on the counter and leave it for me to clean up. My cat Sophie likes to chill with me on my shoulders when I am on my computer or she even (5 mins up) rides around on my shoulders while I am cooking. Cats are cool I guess.
This was my first entry in the 5 Minute Freewrite. @deaconlee and @snook have encouraged me to participate in this activity and I had a good time doing it. Both of them are amazing writers and if you are not familiar with them, hop over to their blogs, give them a follow and read some of their stuff to be taken to another world during their works. The purpose of 5 Minute Freewrite is to set a timer for 5 minutes and just write what comes to your mind. It is a nice way to let your creativity flow.
