"Stop! Stop saying! Please! Stop saying! Stop saying!"
The whole class was staring at Thomas, puzzled, scared and startled that none knew what to do.
Lying side way on the floor, hands covering both ears, he was screaming and shouting, while kicking away all the chairs and table.
"Please stop, teacher! Please please stop saying!"
All the teacher could do was obeying Thomas while hoping he would calm down soon. Everyone assumed he was having uncontrollable fits.

Thomas' father was a successful lightbulbs' seller. He named Thomas due to Thomas Edison, the one who invented light bulb. Behind his success, he has problem with uncontrollable rage. The rage became a worse monster ever since his business dwindled due to the competition from fluorescent light. 5 years into marriage, he lost his wife, one who had forbeared alot of abuse and beatings from him. She died by committing suicide - cutting her wrist using the pieces of broken light bulbs thrown at her.
Thomas was 3 years old when he witnessed his mum cried, followed by pool of blood at her side. He cried, wanting cuddle and comfort from his mum, but motionless was what he saw.
Thomas' dad came home late, drunk. Upon discovering the news, rage summoned him and he started kicking everything in the house, including Thomas. When the innocent toddler wailed due to immense pain, the beast shovelled a light bulb into the toddler's mouth. But that did not stop Thomas from wailing. So he started throwing light bulbs after light bulbs around Thomas to intimidate him.
"Cry louder! Cry louder! Maybe my business will be better! Cry! See how many light bulbs I have at home that I couldn't sell. Cry! Cry out loud!"
Thomas went through this type of hell almost everynight on worst week, or every alternate nights on a good week of sales.
At the classroom, it was Science class, and the topic for today was light and filament and light bulb.
"Stop teacher," Thomas started to calm down, less kicking, then a trail of his sobbing could be heard, louder and louder into grieving, as if someone had just passed away.
