Hunger is one word that brings tears in my eyes. In my younger years, I saw many people struggling to fill their stomachs even for a single time in a day.
I always thought of doing something, but was not in a position to do so.
I want to narrate an incident at this point in time to let you all know the magnanimity of my friend.
His name is Mohan. He became a friend of mine during the month of November in the

...... year 1996. This incident happened somewhere around 2003 or 2004.
At that time, my friend was working in a company. En route to his office, he saw Mr. Ramanadhan who because of some leg ailment was unable to move from a place.
My friend is a very, very kind-hearted person whose mind is filled with humanity to the core. Without asking that person anything, he used to buy some food for him. He used to do it everyday(barring holidays). One day, my friend asked his personal details as to what situation brought him here and the like.
That person told my friend that he has some ailment in his legs (he can't walk just like us) and to treat the same, his sister brought him to Chennai telling him that she will get him treated. Believing her words, he came along with her. He also gave his entire money to her. She cheated him blatantly by leaving him alone and left him in the streets just like that.
The Supreme's Unfailing Love fell on him through my friend and made my friend to kill that bloody hunger ghost that has been tormenting Ramanadhan for quite a while.
It was the rainy season. Due to heavy rain, the whole place was flooded with water. Since he was lying down on the ground, water entered into his mouth. That whole night, he was struggling to keep his high to prevent the water from entering into his mouth. IMAGINE THE PLIGHT OF THAT PERSON.... Oh, my God! He survived by the Almighty's Grace.
Some hours later, the rain stopped and as a result of it, the water level came down giving him a sigh of relief.
My friend went with some food to give to him and when he saw the prevailing situation, he decided to join him in an orphanage THAT DAY ITSELF!
But he couldn't as most of the orphanages he rang into, refused to give him entry. Two days passed by, when a well wisher, with whom he was referring the entire episode, said about RED CROSS... Immediately, he sprung into action, called Red Cross, redirected to an orphanage, got him transported in an auto-rickshaw to that orphanage.
The members of that orphanage were so loving and he was at loss of words to explain their boundaryless love.
Since he was lying down at one place, he has gotten bedsore and that place was filled with pus. But unmindful of the smell emanating from the pus, they cleaned him at a neat place outside their orphanage.
Then they wrapped bandage (they also got assistance from a doctor and treated him with medications later) and took him inside and fed him morsels and morsels of food FILLED WITH LOVE!
When he narrated the whole thing, my eyes moistened with tears and hugged him and said to him
"You are very lucky, Mohan"
I told him in a faded voice with my throat choked in unlimited happiness!
