A quick fun poem for all of my steemit friends who have kids and suffer the unending battle to get them to take a bath. Feel free to show them this poem and the cautionary tale of the fuzzy skinned boy. This poem is in no way based on a young @raj808 😉 it's completely fictional, honest!
There was a young kid
who's mum said to him
get a bath or you'll
end up so grubby,
that you'll collect
so much dirt
it'll stick to your shirt,
and your skin will
end up all fuzzy.
But he didn't believe her
and refused to wash cleaner
than a pig after wallowing in mud.
Sure enough after days
all his friends wouldn't play,
as the fuzz had formed
a skin of pure crud.
I've never tried writing children's stories/poems before. Please let me know what you think? Would your child appreciate the sentiment behind this poem?
