Weekend Freewrite -1/19/2019 - Single Prompt Option
The Wildflower
The small head
as if almost eying us
seeing if we would pick them up
and place in those fancy bouquets
the wildflower sighs
I can almost hear it
but the bees and the butterflies love them
the smaller ones are the best
they are aplenty
the roses and the exotic ones
have been sprayed
so, the wildflowers are safe
for the innocent yellow butterflies
and they dance happily in the wind
