Today turned out to be a nice day, so we went to a few yard sales in the neighborhood. I found a couple of foreign silver coins for fifty cents each and Debbie found a vase for $5.00.
The vase has an Asian theme and I think it's brass or bronze. I think it might be hand engraved, but nowadays it's hard to tell.
That candle stick next to the vase was hand carved by my Uncle Umberto from Empoli. He was a great wood carver and craftsman in Italy.
But back to the vase, Debbie noticed that the piece might be signed by the craftsman. Here's a photo of what we think might be a signature.
It's not the greatest photo, but if anybody can decipher what that says, please leave it in the comments.
Maybe it's worth alotta money and I can sell it and buy some Steem. 😁
