"Basket Full of Garden Produce"

"Cherry Tomatoes"
These are so sweet and juicy yuu can just pop them in your mouth!
"Homerown Okra"
I love, love, love okra! This year we made some pickled okra for the first time. I like mine steamed or chopped and added to other vegetables. Tip: If you plan to fry okra, you can cut calories by breading them with panko crumbs and frying in olive oil.
"Heirloom Tomatoes"
Heirloom tomatoes taste amazing! I slice them thick and add a dash of Himalayan salt on top.
"Fresh Cauliflower"
"Sliced and Seasoned"
Whenever possible, I substitute cauliflower for potatoes. A quick and tasty recipe is to slice cauliflower, top with EVOO (extra virgin olive oil), season with black and crushed peppers, and some garlic salt.
"On the Grill"
Place pieces directly on grill and turn after 5 minutes or so (times varies depending on thickness of cauliflower and grill temperature). I promise the grilled cauliflower tastes delicious!
All of the vegetables shown are packed with healthy nutrients, fiber, and disease preventative antioxidants which have been shown to have protective effects against some types of cancer.
