It came today and I am thrilled how good it looks and how good it feels. Republic of Gamers really know how to make their stuff! I bought a new claymore mechanical keyboard and gladius mouse.
Claymore looks even better at night!
For some people it could look like nothing extradionary and they would just see a very high price tag - claymore keyboard is more than 200 dollars, but there are some really big differences though. The keyboard has detachable numpad, lighting effects and macros and the mice just feels good in the hand. What I also really love is the asus aura. After you download armoury software from Asusyou can then use colorful effect on your keyboard or even sync all your ROG equipment to do the same "breathing" effect. It is really the best! I need to get the rest as soon as possible to have a lighting show in my room! :)
I would not probably get it if I had known I will have burst tire on my car and will need to take care of it, but it took some days to arrive so I couldnt really know that! :)
Are they really just for gamers? No, not really, they just market it to the gaming community more. I had bigger keyboard that was not mechanical and I get used to claymore almost instantly, same with mouse.
I wanted to try the equipment out on some games so I installed StarCraft 2 and I beated hard computer on my first try since all those years. :) So it probably do work!
