As someone who loves to play games, I have been waiting for an app or something that will allow players to earn some extra steem/sbd just by playing. And alas! I might have finally found one.

Introducing Steemgar!
Steemgar is based on a massively multiplayer online action game created by Matheus Valadares called Agar.io. The main goal of the said game is to survive and eat as many agar(randomly generated pellets) and other players cell as many as possible. Everytime you eat something smaller than you, your cell will grow proportional to the size of the eaten one but will make you move slower. The main premise of the game is to eat and hunt smaller players while avoiding the bigger ones until you are bigger than them.
Steemgar has more or less the same rules as Agar.io but has a time limit of 420 seconds or 7 minute. After the time has elapsed, the top 3 players automatically makes a comment to the match post. In the event that there are no 2nd or 3rd players, all rewards at that round will go to the top player. Rewards are given in the form of an upvote.
Thanks to @cryptoctopus support in this awesome project, the first placer is guaranteed with at least 4% vote from him or around $1.50 at current STEEM/SBD price, 2nd placer at 2% or $0.75 and 3rd placer at 1% or $0.50. A curation trail from @steemplayroom and steemgar creator, @igster are also in place. Their vote normally comes after 30minutes to give some additional good curation bonuses for others (especially opponents) to cast their votes to the winners in a round well-played.
So how do you get started?
- Go to https://steemgar.herokuapp.com/
- Login via SteemConnect using your Active Key
- Join the Match
A match is available every other 30minutes.
Controls
- Moving your mouse on the screen moves your cell.
- Pressing "space" will shoot half of your cell forward, to which you can use to catch a running prey.
- Pressing "W" will fire single pellets which you can use to lure other players.
Rules
Like every other game, there are also rules that must be followed on Steemgar:
-Teamwork is not allowed! Doing so will result in losing any pending rewards and a ban of 3days for first time rule breakers. A permanent ban may take place for repeat offenders.
