Victoria, and Jack Steem are my Sim Girl legacy challenge Sims. If you are not familiar with the challenge you can find it at Sims Legacy Challenge. This challenge is to basically start your Sim out on a huge lot, with little to no money, and then play the household for 10 generations on this land. There are many stipulations, and rules for the challenge. You can find these rules by following the link.
Franny Steem had a few more days before she had to start school, so she stayed home with Victoria. Franny is a rambunctious scamp, so she loves to play. Her aspiration as a child is to play on the jungle gym while playful, and achieve level 2 motor skill.
Here she is, playing on the jungle gym.
While watching the kids cartoon network on the television, Franny received the playful mood. Achieving these goals will add to Franny’s total reward points.
Jackie Steem aged into a teenager! Thankfully, Angelica and Josette will soon be young adults. But, for now the Steem family now has five teenage girls in the house at one time. I tell you, this has been a challenging experience; and trying to keep them all in a good mood continues to be a challenge.
Jackie has been given the knowledge aspiration as a renaissance Sim. She wants to be good at many things at once. This aspiration is paired with a special trait; making Jackie learn skills faster than other Sims. She was also given her mother’s bookworm trait.
Josette has grown up to be a young adult! Lifelong responsibilities, escalating careers, and vast horizons await her! Josette has also been chosen to be the heir of the Steem fortune.
She will stay in the house, and raise the next generation. The rest of the Steem daughters will be moving out, but Josette will have an arranged marriage.
@snook had no problem having boys in her legacy challenge, so she had graciously offered to share her boys in the Sims 4 gallery, so that I can marry off Josette. Since I do not know the traits of this Sim, he should be legacy challenge eligible. All I know is he’s a blonde….
I have to say, I’m starting to come around to the positive aspects of arranged marriages. In the Sims game, dating is such a hassle. Victoria had an arranged marriage, and look how well it went for her. I’d say it added years to her life!!! Okay, bad joke.
But, seriously, having them marry without meeting, is so much easier than going through the dating process.
Angelica was given the dance machine trait, okay, I gave her the trait… but sometimes you must dance! The dance machine trait is from the Get Together game pack.
In the Get Together game pack, your Sims can go out to parties, and meet up in groups that they form. One of the groups Victoria joined, when she was a young adult, was called the good-timers. They met at the bar, drank, and played games.
Angelica will be staying a few more days, to help with the harvesting, and then she will be moving out on her own. I feel so sad. I wish I could keep them all together in one big nest. But, little birds, they need to learn to fly.
The good news is that Angelica got two extra traits from her upbringing. These being, good manners, and being responsible. I will be placing her into the Sims Community gallery. You will be able to play Angelica Steem, in your own game. Granted, if you do not have the Parenthood game pack, you will not have these extra traits.
Angelica Steem is the first child to venture out on her own. Here, she is in her new apartment.
I set her up in her new home, and made sure she had a job. Then I saved the game, and went back to the Steem family.
To move your Sims from the household, you must go through a few menus. I will allow @snook explain The Process, since I used her post as a reference.
Once I separated Angelica from the Steem family, I had to go into the edit menu to save the household. By saving the household, Angelica will be saved, from the beginning of her young adult age, in my library. In the future I will have to option to pick up her Sim life, right where I left her.
I shared Angelica Steem to the Sims community gallery, so anyone can now play Angelica Steem in their game.
Since I would like to have Angelica visit from time to time, I placed her in the world, and then saved the game. She will now grow older at the same pace as the Steem family.
After another hundred steps, and I could marry off Josette.
Since, @snook was kind enough to help us find a husband for Josette, by breeding him, and raising him to young adult age, I downloaded her young adult male child, and added him to the family. Once he was in the family, I could assign his relationship as Josette’s husband.
Because this is a legacy challenge, the Steem name needs to remain in the family. Miles Bolin will now be known as, Miles Steem. This way when they do have children, the children will have the Steem name, and be able to pass that name on to future generations.
They are so cute together!
By the end of the day…. Josette is expecting a baby. I almost said twins. Let’s hope not. I do believe, I have explained most all the parenting aspect of the Sims 4. I would like to show more of the game. Apparently, you can take your Sims out of the house.
I am anxious to have the rest of the Steem girls grow up. While at the same time saying, I can’t believe Jackie is a teenager; they grow up so fast!
I hope you have learned a little more about how to play the Sims 4, and how to move Sims in and out of a household. Although you can play your Sims while they are young in one household, when they move out of the main home, they become their own game. If you want to save your Sims to play later, make sure you have a copy of them in the Library.
Until next time,
Happy Gaming- Sim Girl
