Our Garden - A Little Update

This is part 2 of the Garden related posts. I am planning to share an update every few weeks and I hope you'll find these posts interesting.

More garden work was done last week. Again, I helped my mom and dad a little bit and I'm still in the process of learning about everything gardening related. We are maintaining the part we did about 2 weeks ago and you can read about it here. In today's post I'll share a little update of last week's work.

Strawberries (I'm waiting for ya)

It's been years since we are planting strawberries and we changed few different seeds trying to find the best ones. This season, same as last one, we got seeds from family friends and from our in-laws. Hopefully there's going to be plenty of strawberries as last year.

There's three rows like this (can you spot the cat? lol)

Small greenhouse

This is something my dad made for the first time from some materials we had laying around. Inside there is some cucumbers, tomatoes and bell pepper.

Planting beans

We planted two types of beans. I don't know the proper terms in English for these two kinds, maybe it's kindey beans... If you know, please let me know in the comments. One is white and the other has this green-ish color.

Random picture

These are our chicken and rooster in company of the neighborhood cat. The cat, ever since she was little, loved cuddling with chicken, haha. I've never seen a friendship like this. The cat would spend time with the chicken and the chicken would never be mean to the cat. The cat once had two babies delievered in the wooden crate where chicken usually lay eggs, and again, chicken would never touch the cat and her babies. After my neighbor came to see the kittens and touched them, the cat moved her babies to another hidden place (that was last year).

That's it for part 2! Since this is just the beginning of the garden work, I guess I'll have a lot more material to share so if this is something you're interested in, follow me for more updates. Thanks for stopping by! :)
